Bay Area Hand Therapy is a private practice clinic that specializes in the evaluation and treatment of the hand and upper extremity. Patients receive science-based, individualized, one-on-one care from the same Certified Hand Therapist at every visit. This ensures consistency and a personalized treatment experience. Every visit starts with a comprehensive evaluation to assess your movement, strength, swelling, pain, and, when needed, sensation.

Treatment

Based on the results of your evaluation, you will receive a personalized plan designed to address your specific needs and help you achieve your goals.

Manual therapy treatment — hands-on care

Manual Treatment

  • Myofascial and active release
  • Joint mobilizations
  • Cupping, IASTM, stretching
Therapeutic ultrasound modality — gel and wand on wrist

Danielle Conroe

OTR/L, CHT

Danielle earned a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Loma Linda University in 1998. She received her credentialing to practice as a Certified Hand Therapist in 2004. She has been working in outpatient clinics that specialize in the treatment of the upper extremity for over 20 years.

Outside the clinic, Danielle values a lifestyle rooted in wellness, balance and connection. She enjoys practicing yoga, being in nature, hiking, and cooking fresh meals for her husband and two teenage boys.

Danielle is passionate about helping patients regain as much function as possible so they can get back to the activities they love.

Bay Area Hand Therapy accepts Medicare directly. All Medicare patients require a referral from an MD. All other insurances are self-pay.

A superbill is provided after each session for out-of-network reimbursement. HSA and FSA accounts are generally accepted.
